Mr Banya came up with this cocktail a couple of weeks ago. A quick google search of the ingredients revealed that this combo is fairly close to a DIY organic weed killer recipe. Why anyone would pour gin on weeds is beyond me. Haven’t they heard of cheap metho or rubbing alcohol???
Anyway, I digress. If you want to make your own “weed killer”, here’s Mr Banya’s recipe.
Ingredients:
40ml Gin
20ml Vermouth
Splash red wine vinegar (or your favourite vinegar)
Large pinch salt
Orange peel to garnish
Method:
Combine gin, vermouth, vinegar and salt with ice in a cocktail shaker. Stir well, until some of the salt has disolved. Pour into a martini glass. Garnish with orange peel. Put the kids to bed, flop on the couch and sip whilst watching a pre-recorded episode of Game of Thrones on a random Friday night.
Because we all need a bit of coping cordial every now and again. 🙂
And as a bonus, this will fix that sore throat that has been threatening to take hold. Promise.
