Just wondering how old your kids were here. I am looking at this for an option for my 2 year olds birthday and wondered if they would be able to do it. Thanks.

    • Ooh, good question, this is an old post so I’ll have to think back! My eldest daughter JJ (who helped with the painting) would have been 4 years old, and my youngest daughter Bee was about to turn 2. Bee was certainly able to use a glue stick and glue on paper squares (pasting was one of her favourite activities at this age), but not with any precision. If you look at the finished Henry, the legs where the colours all line up would have been the ones that I did (perhaps with help from JJ), and the legs/body where the squares and rectangles are stuck on irregularly would have been what Bee did. But both girls did enjoy playing with Henry afterwards, and making his legs move around! I think we might still have him somewhere, lol.
