I love packaging. we use all sorts of it for craft activities. I have also heard that free cycle is great for classrooms if you need a large amount of craft stuff.

Definitely RECYCLING and gathering items from NATURE are top of our list too!! – We also source our art materials from http://www.alittlecreative.com.au – a local children's art business in Qld – that is growing to offer their great services Australia wide…

As a one income family- we are always looking at where we can save. We love Resource Rescue in Melbourne, but I'd never thought to get craft supplies from Quick Sales. Thanks.

My kids are craft mad, we always seem to find stuff when we're out and about, love using recyclables also. Only thing I don't like about craft – GLITTER BABY

Cool! And yes, glitter is so hard to clean! I would say do it outside, but inevitably the 'creations' come inside and the glitter spreads anyway. I think it's a lost cause. 🙂

  8. Yes! I agree whole-heartedly! I have a thing for making crafts from yogurt cups since they are usually not recyclable.

We go to dollar store and stock up on all things you mentioned you get at a grocery store. My favorite is shower curtain its so much fun to paint on and use as a floor mat as well. It washes off easy and you can re use it.

I also love your ideas on recycling items we will have to try that.

    Thank you
